Hiroto is an intaglio printmaker who included flowers or birds in more than twenty of his prints. Twenty-four examples are shown below. Click on a picture to enlarge it. Flowers are typically placed in the foreground of a landscape scene while birds are ususally shown either flying high in the sky or sitting at the top of a tree.
